Why dig Trenches when there are better solutions
Primary intent of executing a subsurface pipeline rehabilitation project is to achieve designed / desired performance levels under the identified duty conditions. This would mean strengthening the existing liner or placing a new liner that is capable of performing the desired duties in the right-of-way. The rehabilitated liner system (repaired or additional liner as the case may be) has to meet the hydraulic, structural, environmental, or operational requirements. It means that such liner should be able to provide a leakproof enclosure that is structurally strong enough to withstand the applied loads and permits the flow of fluid without any quality alteration or deterioration. This liner system is the core of trenchless rehabilitation project and needs to be designed to meet the requirements. These guidelines provide inputs for designing such lining systems.
