Why dig Trenches when there are better solutions
For any subsurface project, may that be for renewal of subsurface pipelines or renewal of buried structures, existing subsurface conditions play a major role in selecting a suitable renewal trenchless technique or a combination thereof, estimating the costs and timelines, identifying the minimum essential qualifications of trenchless service providers, developing the execution methodology, defining the contract conditions, and defining other vital project inputs. Condition assessment is done by deploying either smart tools like robotic CCTV/drones, other equipment, or by using geophysical investigation methods & tools, or a combination thereof. For the most optimum results, outputs from the condition assessment need to be assimilated, assessed, and properly inferred. This compilation aims at providing guidelines for assessing the Pipeline Condition and subsurface region surrounding the subsurface pipeline to assist subsurface pipeline owners.
